Starting with the implementation of operational measurements to support scientific research projects (then belonging to BFI) we work now on the development of electronic measurement systems and the manufacturing and commissioning. BFI Betriebstechnik has more than 35 years experience in metrology.

A milestone was and is the development of the world's first fully electronic bi-directional rotary transmission system for measurement and control signals (data and power) for the operation of flatness control.

Today, the BFI Betriebstechnik GmbH designs, manufactures and markets engineering measurement solutions for the iron and steel industry.
